New policy of Tungsten and Molybdenum products

2025-02-17

For our company:

Recently, the our government announced export controls on many tungsten and molybdenum products, Tungsten and molybdenum raw materials such as tungsten rod bar, molybdenum plate sheet, molybdenum tray, tungsten/molybdenum wire, W-Ni-Fe alloy. While W-Ni-Fe alloy is one of our advantaged prodcts. Tungsten/ molybdenum parts that are widely used in industries such as aerospace, military, nuclear industry is easy to be controled. This policy has sparked significant attention across the global market, particularly among international trading companies and downstream manufacturers. The export document is more strict, and Custom policy is tight, all these makes tungsten/ molybdenum products exporting difficult.

It seems that high-value-added tungsten and molybdenum products, high-tech products are easier to export.

Luoyang Starto Metal Co.,Ltd. main products are tungsten and molybdenum machining parts, W/Mo alloy such W-Ni-Fe alloy products. The new policy affects us too.

Opportunities for High-Value-Added Products
While the export controls may limit the availability of tungsten and molybdenum raw materials (including W-Ni-Fe alloy), they also create opportunities for trade in high-value-added tungsten and molybdenum products. Chinese manufacturers are expected to shift their focus to exporting processed goods, such as tungsten carbide, molybdenum alloys, and specialized coatings. Foreign trade companies can capitalize on this trend by partnering with Chinese suppliers to access advanced materials and technologies.

Our Commitment
As a trusted supplier in the tungsten and molybdenum sector, we-Luoyang Starto Metal Co.,Ltd. is committed to supporting our global partners with high-value-added tungsten and molybdenum products.
